Zuul raises $9M to expand ghost kitchens in NYC

Zuul, a New York-based provider of ghost kitchens, said it raised $9 million in funding to expand its presence across the city.

Zuul Kitchens, which operates its flagship location at 30 Vandam St., said it plans to expand its presence with additional ghost kitchens across the five boroughs. The company works with a number of well-known restaurant brands, including Naya, Sweetgreen, StoneBridge Pizza and Salad and other restaurant brands.

"By raising this additional capital, Zuul can continue to play a central role in the restaurant industry's accelerating shift towards delivery while addressing the challenges this shift presents," Corey Manicone,co-founder and CEO of Zuul, said in a company release. "We partner with restaurants to improve the experience end-to-end. As Zuul expands,so too can our members dynamically scale and drive incremental unit economics."
