Thryv Inc., provider of Thryv software, a fully integrated, end-to-end platform for small businesses, announced that ThryvPay payment processing service, launched in October 2020, processed more than $2 million in total volume, according to a press release.

ThryvPay offers customers competitive flat-rate fees, ACH capabilities, payment scheduling and the added ability to offset credit card processing fees by passing a convenience fee on to customers.

Thryv's payment-related offerings cater to small service-oriented businesses by offering electronic estimates and invoices, real-time payment tracking and integration with apps like Square, PayPal and Shopify, with plans to include Clover.

The company supports safe and contactless payments and recently launched pay by SMS capabilities. With this new feature, Thryv users can request payments over SMS text.

"Small businesses offering pay by SMS are at a big advantage over their competitors – even large brands," Ryan Cantor, VP of product and marketing for Thryv said in the release. "Today's consumers are demanding contactless payment options, like paying via SMS text. In fact, two-thirds of consumers say they'll switch to a business that has contactless payment options over a business they've actually been loyal to.
