Switzerland is launching a Green Fintech Network through the State Secretariat for International Finance to help the country take advantage of sustainable finance opportunities, according to a report in Finextra.

Members, which will include industry players, green fintech companies, universities, consultants and law firms, will identify areas in which the conditions for a green fintech in Switzerland could be improved. The group will provide concrete proposals to both the government and the private sector.

The results of the Green Fintech Network's initial activities will be recorded in an action plan, which is due to be published in spring 2021.
