PayToo Mobile Wallet offers unbanked access to auto financing

As the digital wallet slowly gains acceptance, it's slowly evolving into something more robust than a place to store digital versions of payment and loyalty cards. In the case of a new partnership between PayToo and Grand Prix Motors, an auto sales and leasing company in the New York area, the mobile wallet is providing unbanked consumers with access to tools that can help them buy a car.

Using PayToo's payroll direct deposit option, unbanked users can have money put into their PayToo Mobile account, which can give them access to credit for purchasing or leasing a car from Grand Prix Motors.

"With so many out-of-reach products and services for unbanked consumers, businesses miss out on reaching this important market," said PayToo CEO Michel Poignant. "Working as a PayToo partner, we help businesses such as Grand Prix Motors expand their target market and increase their revenues by reaching these previously underserved consumers."

According to the companies, customers who can't visit Grand Prix Motors can obtain access to auto financing and leasing anywhere in the U.S. through the car dealer's website.
