PaymentOne, Live Gamer partner on mobile billing solution for gaming, entertainment

Direct carrier biller PaymentOne and Live Gamer, a digital commerce and advertising platform for the interactive entertainment industry, announced PaymentOne's AnyPhone payment method has been added to the Live Gamer platform. AnyPhone gives end users a simple way to make in-game purchases with their mobile phones.

"We are excited to offer our game developer and publisher partners the opportunity to leverage PaymentOne's broad coverage spanning more than 80 countries as a way to maximize their monetization opportunities, expand their customer reach and ultimately increase their revenue streams," said Andrew Schneider, Live Gamer's president and co-founder, in the announcement.

AnyPhone lets end-users pay for purchases by billing the transactions to their mobile, home or broadband statements. The technology even allows consumers to enter any number they own, automatically identifies the type of number and best billing account, and then routes the payment for a simple and frictionless consumer experience.

For merchants, AnyPhone provides higher conversion rates, higher payout rates and a faster payment cycle. Additionally, PaymentOne's white label brand strategy lets Live Gamer's customers tailor the user experience and also maintain brand consistency throughout the payment process.

As the first combined digital commerce and advertising platform, Live Gamer helps its online entertainment customers monetize their content and connects advertisers to more than 48 million users. Its client list includes prominent names in digital gaming, entertainment and social networking like Facebook, Electronic Arts and Sony Online. Advertisers using Live Gamer's media network include Blizzer, KFC and Best Buy.
