Noble hires former Red Sox exec to lead mobile-ordering strategy

Noble, a mobile-ordering platform for the hospitality and gaming industry, has named former Red Sox executive Jon Dienstag as vice president of strategy and development.

He lead enterprise and partnership growth for the team’s concessions and events department over a 15-year career after graduating from Harvard. He went onto serve as a special assistant to Red Sox president and CEO Larry Lucchino.

“With his expertise in retail concessions and event operations management, Jon’s leadership will be extremely valuable and make a significant impact growing the Noble network of establishments,” Varun Pathak, CEO of Noble, said in a company release. “Most importantly, Jon shares our passion for disruptive technologies that win the heart of the people in-venue, both guests and operators.”

Noble’s technology allows customers at bars, restaurants, arenas and other venues to order via native apps, web links, QR codes and text-link via chatboxes.
