The mobile carrier Partner Communications Ltd. and credit card provider Isracard Ltd. have signed a letter of intent to launch a credit card that includes a mobile wallet option. The Israeli business news site Globes.com reports that the new card, Orange One, will launch within weeks.

According to the site, the credit card will combine customer benefits in Israel and overseas with the option to pay by a digital wallet that uses near field communications technology on mobile phones. The partners said the card will offer discounts and include a location-based app.
