Mopay opens offices in Korea, Indonesia

Mobile biller mopay is expanding. The company has announced two new offices in Asia — one in Seoul, South Korea and the other in Jakarta, Indonesia. According to mopay, since expanding its regional presence to Asia in 2010, the company has acquired more than 100 new clients in the region and is working with nine of China's top ten online game companies.

"Asia's online merchants maintain an impressive tradition of providing quality online content that attracts millions of users both locally and internationally," said Kolja Reiss, mopay managing director for the U.S. "The recent opening of two new offices marks just another step in mopay's ongoing expansion in Asia."

Reiss said mopay will open two additional offices in the region in the next year.

Currently mopay operates in more than 80 countries and reaches 4.3 billion consumers through its relationships with wireless carriers. Besides Asia, mopay has offices in the U.S., the U.K, Germany, Brazil and Spain.
