Moonlighting, a mobile-on demand hiring platform, has partnered with Kelly Services, a workforce solutions company, to provide its new Blockchain Profile Management System to Kelly Services. The system will run on the blockchain protocol EOSIO from Block.one and will launch this month, according to a press release.

Job seekers will be able to use the system to create work profiles on the blockchain and share them with freelance and gig marketplaces.

"This strategic partnership, initiated through the Kelly Innovation Fund, supports the application of blockchain in human capital environments," John Healy, VP and managing director, office of the future of work, Kelly's Services, said in the release. "Mobile technology, self-service, and the platform economy are all priorities for the modern workforce, and with data privacy emerging with an ever-increasing focus, we expect blockchain technology to offer even greater opportunities for a more efficient and secure process in the upcoming years."
