Network International, a payments product provider that services the Middle East and Africa, is set to rollout Mobeewave’s patented in-person contactless payment acceptance platform in the United Arab Emirates, according to a press release. 

MasterCard and IDEMIA also are involved in the rollout, which would be Mobeewave’s first in the region.

Already operating in Australia, Canada and Poland, Mobeewave's proximity payment platform leverages the NFC capability and secure element of modern smartphones. Meeting payment industry security standards, it enables individuals and merchants to accept contactless payments without the need for external hardware, according to the release.
