PayRange Inc. has reached an agreement with Wash Multifamily Laundry Systems to provide a mobile payments option to consumers doing laundry at Wash laundry rooms throughout Canada and the U.S., according to a press release.

"Partnering with PayRange not only enables us for mobile payment, but also serves as a platform to reimagine the customer journey," Gautam Roy, CIO of Wash, said in the release. "Wash is committed to building one-of-a-kind experiences that benefit residents and property owners. We are leveraging best-in-class technology to power a full mobile experience."

Residents that use Wash laundry rooms will have the ability to pay for the use of washers and dryers via a mobile app, according to the release. The system also will include coupons and rewards to lure customers to use the app to pay.

Wash said it will upgrade "a substantial amount of locations" to the mobile app option by the end of the year.
