Portland, Ore.-based online security company iovation announced a new partnership with AliasLab Spa, an Italian consulting and professional services company. According to iovation, the partnership will expand its presence in Italy and Southern Europe.

AliasLab will now offer ReputationManager360, iovation's device ID service, along with its own SecureCall Suite that offers authentication, mobile payment and digital signature services, iovation said.

"Partnering with leading security providers around the globe has been a key strategy for iovation's growth, and we're proud to have the opportunity to work with as innovative a company as AliasLab," said Jon Karl, iovation Vice President of Corporate Development.

Karl called AliasLab's suite of products and iovation's device reputation solutions "extremely complimentary" and said the combination will provide clients with a highly effective authentication and fraud management solution.

AliasLab's SecureCall Authorization solution turns mobile devices into a "physical token" that certifies personal credentials for online transactions and can be used to authenticate users to restricted areas, authorize online transactions and activate mobile payment solutions.

For its part, iovation's tools helps companies avoid online fraud and risk by assessing the reputation of Internet-enabled devices, including tablets and mobile devices. Its ReputationManager360 also provides reporting and analysis tools to help companies identify trends in online fraud.
