HP, Accumulate widen mobile payments partnership
After launching a mobile payments scheme in Poland, Hewlett Packard and m-payments provider Accumulate are widening their partnership to enter new markets. The companies recently joined forces to integrate mobile payments solutions for PKO Bank Polski.
HP offers secure processing solutions and payment technology to several banks and telcos in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The company added technology from Stockholm-based Accumulate to its core portfolio to provide reliable mobile payments, mobile banking and mobile security solutions to more customers, according to a news release.
Accumulate said it has delivered more than 100 million mobile online applications since 2004, and that its platform is a strong fit for system integrators who want to offer customer-branded offerings in mobile payments, mobile banking and mobile authentication/security. The company's customer portfolio continues includes PKO Bank Polski, National Commercial Bank (Saudi Arabia), CredibanCo (Colombia), Diners Cards (Ecuador), Shell (Greece) and PayPal (Sweden).
