GoTab redesigns online menu, updates referral program

Restaurant commerce platform GoTab has unveiled enhanced contactless online menu features and special offers to help operators update and display menus for special occasions like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, according to a press release.

Throughout the pandemic, for health and safety reasons, many operators transitioned from printed menus to contactless menus but the menus weren't flexible for operators to update for special occasions. The GoTab team redesigned and reorganized its contactless digital menus with features that give operators the ability to easily display separate menus for special occasions like Valentine's Day, highlight best-sellers or spotlight cost-efficient offerings.

Operators also have the ability to automatically update specific menu items in real-time. The enhanced menu program can notify guests of changes and allows them the ability to communicate with the kitchen via two-way SMS text if they need to modify their order.

"Our operators are experiencing a huge transformation in guest ordering and dining preferences. We want to make it easy for them to flex their digital menus to give their guests a familiar, personalized dining experience," Tim McLaughlin, GoTab CEO, said in the release.

Effective immediately, GoTab has also released a referral plan that rewards operators with $1,000 if they refer a new account that adopts GoTab's POS as its exclusive processing program. Additionally, the company has unveiled a new contactless ordering starter kit that includes a POS, a standing mount, a PAX payment terminal, POS software, payment processing and 24/7 live customer service for a one-time fee of $600. The starter kit is easy to setup and operators can access and offer ordering and delivery capabilities in less than 24 hours.
