Apple has secured a deal on Apple Pay with major French bank Société Générale, according to local media reports.

The deal marks the first major bank deal for Apple in France although the Apple Pay is available to customers at several smaller savings banks, Orange SA's online bank and is accepted at supermarket chain Carrefour.

Apple Pay launched in France last year.
