FanDuel expands online, mobile sports betting to Pennsylvania

FanDuel Group announced a partnership with Boyd Gaming and Valley Forge Casino Resort to expand its FanDuel Sportsbook platform into Pennsylvania.

The state follows New Jersey as the only two states to offer the FanDuel platform since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that online sports betting was legal in the U.S. Pennsylvania residents may now place bets on various team sports, including football, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis online or using the FanDuel mobile app.

"We're leveraging our expertise in creating world class fantasy and sports betting experiences to build the best online betting platform in the state of Pennsylvania," Mike Raffensperger, chief marketing officer of FanDuel Group, said in a company release. "We became the number one sports betting operator in New Jersey by focusing on customer experience and we can't wait for sports fans in New Jersey to join the party."

Customers can pay with debit, credit, PayPal, ACH, online bank transfer and other methods.
