Dunkin' Brands adds digital chief, team members

Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. has hired Philip Auerbach, a travel industry executive, as chief digital and strategy officer, a news release said.

Auerbach will oversee a new Dunkin' U.S. digital engagement team that includes consumer and business insights, digital marketing, media and customer care. He will also lead global strategy and Information technology functions for the company, which includes Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins brands.

The company has promoted Stephanie Meltzer-Paul and Santhosh Kumar to senior vice president, Dunkin' U.S. Digital Marketing, and senior vice president, Global Information Technology, respectively, with both being members of the digital team.

Phil is a transformational leader who has led the evolution of consumer and hospitality brands and will take our growing digital platform to the next level," CEO David Hoffmann, said in the release. "He will be supported by a top-tier team that includes two leaders who have already played significant roles in our digital innovation."

Auerbach joins Dunkin' Brands from ship-based expedition travel company, Lindblad Expeditions, where he most recently served as chief commercial officer. Prior to Lindblad, Auerbach was regional CMO of Las Vegas at Caesars Entertainment,
