DoorDash Inc., the app-based food delivery firm, is in the process of raising $500 million, a move that would value the company at more than $6 billion, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

The fundraising round is being led by Temasek Holdings, the Singapore state investment firm, and comes at a time when rivals Uber and Postmates are planning initial public offerings.
