Cambodian FI selects SmartVista

Cambodia's fourth-largest microfinance institution, Hattha Kaksekar, has gone live with SmartVista, the end-to-end payments solution from BPC Banking Technologies. The software will support the the delivery of a wide range of customer services across various channels, including ATMs, POS devices and mobile phones.

SmartVista is providing financial transaction switching for Hattha Kaksekar, plus card management for all types of cards — debit, local credit, prepaid and virtual. Built-in EMV support on SmartVista for EMV will allow the FI to issue local chip cards on EMV standards, as Cambodia joins the worldwide shift to smartchip technology.

The BPC solution will enable balance and mini statement inquiries, funds transfers, and remittance transactions on ATMs and POS devices. In addition, it supports mobile payment services nationwide. Built-in EMV support on SmartVista will allow the FI to issue local chip cards on EMV standards.

BPC also implemented a number of features that will help Hattha deliver advanced services, including cardless foreign currency exchanges on ATMs and biometric authentication on ATMs and POS devices.
