BOKU reaches all of France with two new deals

Thirty-two million French cellphone subscribers now have an easier way to pay for content on their phones. Direct carrier biller BOKU announced today it has expanded its services to French carriers Bouygues Telecom and SFR. BOKU's services allow consumers to purchase digital goods and services by placing the charge on their monthly cell phone bills.

BOKU said that, along with its existing relationship with Orange France, nearly all mobile users in France will now have access to its services.

"France accounts for more than 50 Million mobile subscribers and has one of the most advanced online markets in the world," said Mark Britto, CEO of BOKU. "France is already one of BOKU's top ten markets, and these new connections will undoubtedly keep them in that category and growing fast."

BOKU said Bouygues Telecom and SFR are launching a new service that lets subscribers purchase goods online and use BOKU to pay with their mobile phone numbers. The service is called Internet + Mobile. BOKU said the service allows a fully-integrated two-click purchase process and can be used for purchases up to €10.
