Auriga marks growth in regional offices, revenues

The Italian company said that fiscal year 2014 produced 23 percent sales growth, helped by its success in securing significant international orders.

Auriga, a provider of multichannel software and solutions for the banking and mobile payments industries, has opened its third international sales office in Frankfurt, the heart of the German banking system as of July 1, according to a press release. The new branch will focus on developing business opportunities with financial institutions in German-speaking areas — including Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

As with the company's London and Paris locations, the Frankfurt office is expected to evolve into a technical and IT center as local contracts are secured. This development strategy achieved significant results in 2014, with the launch of substantial projects in France, Belgium and the U.K., the company said.

Auriga also said that ongoing consolidation of the company's position in the Italian market and strong results abroad resulted in sales growth of 23 percent in fiscal year 2014, boosting the company to more than 15 million euros ($16.6 million) in annual revenues.

The company said its growth — including a 17 percent increase in corporate structure during the fiscal year — has been driven by a relatively young workforce that includes technologically innovative engineers and software developers, as well as new software solutions such as its branch transformation solution, WWS Branch, which was added to Auriga's WinWebServer omnichannel banking platform.
