Afterpay Day sale to offer instant financing with online fashion, beauty retailers

Afterpay Touch Group announced its second biannual Afterpay Day promotion, scheduled for Aug. 14-15, which will allow its beauty and fashion brands and retailers that work with the financing company to offer special promotions and discounts. 

Afterpay works with some of the top names in fashion and beauty, including Nars Cosmetics, Steve Madden, Schutze, RPL an RE/Done. After launching its U.S. business in 2018, Afterpay allows more than 2 million consumers to make payments in four installments on purchases through its local partner sites, which number about 6,500.

"After building tremendous momentum in the U.S. over the past year, we are thrilled to partner with merchants to promote the second biannual Afterpay Sale to over two million customers who have used the Afterpay service at one of our retail partners," Nick Molnar, co-founder of Afterpay and U.S. CEO, said in a company release. 

During the last Afterpay sale in March, more than 400 U.S. retail partners participated and average sales rose 110%.
