Zapper, SalesVu partner to expand mobile payments acceptance for restaurants

Through Zapper, a QR code will be displayed on kiosk screens or printed on receipts, enabling customers to use the free Zapper app to scan the code and pay the bill.

Zapper, a global mobile payments company, has partnered with SalesVu, a provider of self-order kiosks and point-of-sale solutions for iPads, to broaden the reach of its mobile payment technology for restaurants.

"We are thrilled to partner with SalesVu, who share our passion for streamlining the payment experience at restaurants," said Patrick Wood, director of partnerships for Zapper. "This partnership will benefit diners by allowing them to pay their bill in seconds, while restaurateurs will gain insight into their customers and be able to use that knowledge to drive increased visit frequency and new customer acquisition through tailored in-app promotions."

Restaurants using the SalesVu system will now be able to activate Zapper as an additional payment option for customers, according to a press release. Through Zapper, a QR code will be displayed on kiosk screens or printed on receipts, enabling customers to use the free Zapper app to scan the code and pay the bill. Once scanned, the diner can easily add a tip or split the bill. During this process, Zapper captures detailed customer data, providing restaurants with the necessary tools to build a larger and more loyal customer base and create targeted offers and promotions.

SalesVu offers restaurants the only fully integrated all-in-one solution that includes an online ordering platform, online reservations management system, cloud-based employee scheduling, social and email marketing automation, multi-location reporting, and customer-facing kiosk, according to the release. In addition, through thePOS, restaurateurs can manage table layout, keep track of multiple open tabs and split checks.
