Seamless has Swedish consumers covered with mobile payments for parking
Sweden-based Mobil Park announced Monday a partnership with Seamless to use the SEQR product to enable commuters to pay for parking with a mobile phone, according to a press release. Mobil Park plans to roll out the service in the fourth quarter.
Seamless' parternership with Mobil Park is the company's third such agreement with parking companies in Sweden.
"Together with a municipal parking organization we can offer 100 percent coverage for the inhabitants of that municipality," Seamless CEO Peter Fredell said in a statement.
"We want to offer our clients a mobile payment solution that has more areas of possible use and doesn’t cost them anything extra," Mikael Kihlander, CEO of Mobil Park, said in a statement. "With SEQR, we can offer them just that. We view it as a stamp of approval that other parking companies also use SEQR’s solution. This is something that benefit all users."
