The Township of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, and Passport, a contactless mobile pay parking system have partnered to bring the first mobile parking application to the area.

Residents may access 1,200 parking spaces in Upper Darby next year by using the Passport app on a smartphone, according to a press release.

The cloud-based solution will help the town with payments and parking enforcement, and the app will help users get receipts, parking notifications and extend parking.
