Omlis touts new mobile security partnerships

Company said it has secured $31 million in contracts to implement its services with various partners over the next five years.

Omlis, a mobile payments security provider, last week announced that it has secured $31 million in contracts to implement its services with various partners over the next five years, according to a press release.

The U.K.-based company also announced the addition of 40 employees in the last 11 months.

"It’s hard to believe that the company has expanded so quickly," Markus Milsted, founder and CEO of Omlis, said in a statement. "Our CCO, John Stuart, previously shaped the commercial strategies for world-class organizations including S1 and Verifone, securing orders in excess of $350 million in competitive global markets. The Omlis team is growing and the talent is immense."

Omlis' most recent parntership is with Stratus Global Technologies, a Massachusetts-based software provider.

"This partnership enables Stratus and Omlis to reach new markets, protect businesses and individuals from fraud and deliver a highly compelling commercial proposition to financial institutions, payment service providers, mobile network operators and the whole of the payments ecosystem," Stuart said in the statement.
