Monitise PLC has announced the addition of another U.K. bank to its client roster. The company said a three-year deal involving a series of Mobile Money services had been entered into by Monitise and a new customer referred to only as "a leading UK financial institution."

"We are delighted to be supporting yet another financial institution in developing bank-grade compelling Mobile Money services," said Monitise group chief commercial officer Lee Cameron said. “With the Mobile Money landscape fast becoming a battleground for consumer loyalty and share of wallet, we remain convinced that trusted financial services brands belong at the center of the ecosystem.”

In addition to international strategic partnerships with Visa Inc., Visa Europe, RBS and FIS, Monitise works with more than 300 banks and FIs and other partners worldwide to develop and deploy new mobile banking, payments and commerce services.

Earlier this month, the company was named "Best Technology Supplier 2012" by Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
