Mocapay, a mobile marketing and payments product provider, and Merchant Link, a provider of payment gateway and data security products, this week announced the formation of a business alliance intended to give merchants access to mobile-payment and payment-security offerings. 

Merchant Link said in a press release it will leverage Mocapay's patented mobile payment and marketing technology to expand its product suite with value added products.

"We're thrilled to team up with an industry innovator like Merchant Link," Mocapay CEO Doug Dwyre said in a statement. "This relationship will give Merchant Link an entirely new product set to offer its existing client base while expanding Mocapay's reach in hospitality. Additionally, Mocapay's patented, tokenized mobile transaction processing technology will ensure payment and transaction security enhancing the existing Merchant Link product security suite."

"The collaboration with Mocapay is just another way Merchant Link continues to seek relationships that offer our clients more information and more data, enhancing their opportunity for great customer retention and revenue generation," Laura Meck, executive vice president of Merchant Link, said in a statement.
