Mobiquity Networks teams with The Coupons App to deliver beacon-triggered promotions

The Coupons App has already formed an extensive mobile shopping community by providing users with deals and coupons from more than 100,000 retailers.

Mobiquity Networks, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobiquity Technologies Inc., Thursday announced it has partnered with The Coupons App to deliver beacon-triggered promotions to consumers' mobile phones.

Mobiquity Networks said in a press release that the partnership enables The Coupons App to deliver more timely, personalized and contextually relevant deals to its 10 million users as they shop in any one of 475 malls nationwide that are equipped with beacons owned and managed by Mobiquity Networks.

The Coupons App has already formed an extensive mobile shopping community by providing users with deals and coupons from more than 100,000 retailers, according to the announcement. Its mobile phone app includes exclusive offers and local deals, and now provides alerts when users are within proximity of their favorite stores and restaurants where the promotions can be redeemed.

"Since 2008, The Coupons App has been the industry-leading mobile coupon app that consumers dependably rely upon to connect with real-time deals at their favorite retailers, restaurants and brands. Our users win when we provide them with the most timely and relevant offers available," Aaron Rzadczynski, CEO of The Coupons App, said in a statement. "This agreement enables our loyal users to enjoy valuable, exclusive, highly contextualized, location-based and personally relevant coupon alerts from their favorite retailers, brands and restaurants when they are actively shopping in any of the malls in Mobiquity Networks' industry-leading network. This agreement allows us to provide retailers access to a massive base of mobile consumers who are already in that purchase mindset."

"We've built an incredible network footprint in exclusive retail and entertainment venues that is uniquely positioned to deliver timely and valuable location signals and contextual data to our application partners," Sean Trepeta, president of Mobiquity Networks, said in a statement. "Together, we can enrich the mall shopping experience with relevant and timely offers at the most critical moment — while the mobile user is actively shopping, The Coupons App has a large and engaged user base, which makes them a perfect addition to our publisher network. The partnership delivers on our network mission: Create a more valuable user experience and deliver an effective new mobile channel for retail and brand advertisers."
