Mobile wallet provider Cellum teams with Credorax to broaden 'Plug & Pay' reach

The partnership is intended to broaden the geographical reach of Cellum's service as well as offer and foster international acquiring and settlement in less widespread currencies.

Mobile wallet provider Cellum has added Credorax, a global digital merchant acquiring bank, to the list of acquirers available in its Cellum Plug & Pay service, according to a press release. The partnership is intended to broaden the geographical reach of Cellum's service as well as offer and foster international acquiring and settlement in less widespread currencies, according to the announcement.

Cellum Plug & Pay gives third parties a complete off-the-shelf product for bringing secure mobile payments to their existing mobile apps.

Cellum makes available an SDK that is built on the same core engine powering the mobile wallets the company has produced for numerous banks and mobile network operators across the globe, according to the announcement.

"Together with Cellum, we can provide m-commerce merchants with an effortless payment solution in different currencies, ultimately allowing them to expand their businesses further into new, untapped markets," said Sveta Bulshtein, senior sales manager at Credorax.
