ING Poland customers can now pay for goods or services using their Android smartphones following the launch this month of a new app that's capable of HCE mobile payments.

ING teams in Poland, the Netherlands and Spain developed the Moje ING mobile app in less than a year. It is one of the first global projects of this type to provide a service that can also be used by other ING countries, according to the announcement.

There are currently 460,000 contactless payment terminals available in Poland, according to the announcement.
