ImpulsePay intros new tool to help mobile commerce sites

The Payments Page Editor, a new enterprise Web app, will enable merchants and retailers using its mobile payments service, BillMobile, to provide a better end-user payment experience.

ImpulsePay this week launched Payments Page Editor, what the company calls a new enterprise Web app that will enable merchants and retailers using its mobile payments service, BillMobile, to provide a better end-user payment experience, according to a press release.

ImpulsePay said the merchant will be able to maintain a consistent brand throughout the payment process — including adding new offers at short notice — resulting in more transactions and less payment dropout, according to the announcement. The company said Payment Pages Editor also gives merchants the ability to design and launch bespoke payment pages from scratch for mobile-ready e-commerce stores.

The Payments Page Editor uses a familiar HTML editing interface. ImpulsePay immediately checks designs for compliance, meaning that retailers could produce and deploy a fully branded new payment screen almost instantly, according to the announcement.

"If a payment page needs adapting, the freedom of being able to respond quickly to design issues allows merchants to become more effective retailers," Paul Paterson, commercial director of ImpulsePay, said in a press release. "It is innovations like our Payment Page Editor which, when combined with BillMobile’s 90 percent payout to merchants, make charge-to-Mobile a compelling mobile payments proposition."
