Google adds YouTube donations via Wallet
The search engine provides producers another way to earn money for their content.
YouTube producers can now ask viewers for donations via Google Wallet, according to a report from Android Police.
Google, which owns YouTube, takes a percentage of each donation to process the transaction, according to the report. Transaction fees vary by location. In the U.S., the fee is 5 percent plus 21 cents. For now, the donation feature is only available in Australia, Japan, Mexico and the U.S.
