Financial technology company Fiserv and Cambodian bank ACLEDA have won an Asian Banker Technology Implementation Award in the category "best mobile banking project." The award recognizes a collaboration by Fiserv and ACLEDA to extend the ACLEDA Unity mobile banking and payments service to new, untapped consumer segments using Mobiliti Reach from Fiserv.

Last June, ACLEDA, Cambodia's largest bank, deployed Mobiliti Reach to bring financial services to individuals who previously had no formal banking relationships. Using Mobiliti Reach, ACLEDA can enable unbanked Cambodians to create and fund an ACLEDA mobile-only account.

From their ACLEDA Unity accounts, customers can complete transactions including person-to-person payments, account transfer, bill payments, mobile phone top-ups and cash deposits and cardless cash withdrawals through ACLEDA ATMs, branches and offline offices.
