The Electronic Transactions Association and Mobile Contactless Payment Innovations have announced that they will collaboratively launch the Mobile Payment Innovations 2013 conference, which will be held in conjunction with the 2013 ETA Annual Meeting and Expo in New Orleans on April 30, 2013.
"Mobile payments is the next big thing in the field of electronic transactions, and we're excited to work with MCPI to host in-depth discussions on the future of this dynamic industry," said ETA CEO Jason Oxman. He said the event would be a source of "relevant, actionable business intelligence."
According to a news release about the event, Mobile Payment Innovations 2013 will feature interactive discussions and presentations on the business opportunities created in and by the mobile payments industry.
Panel participants and keynote speakers from major U.S. payments and technology companies and merchants will share firsthand experience and describe how mobile payments will transform business for both solution providers and end users.
