SLA Mobile and Zain win the Consumer Innovation Award at the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards 2015

SLA Mobile and Zain have been awarded the Consumer Innovation Award at the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards for improving mobile customers experience through Direct Operator Billing.

SLA Mobile and Zain have won the award in the Customer Service Innovation category at the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards for being the first operator in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait to launch a simple and secure mobile payment solution, creating a seamless and more enjoyable experience for Zain customers in these countries. The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards, held in London, recognise innovative projects that are supported by at least one operator and one vendor and aptly recognise Zain’s mentality for providing its customers with innovative and life enriching technologies.

Throughout 2014 Zain and SLA Mobile partnered in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait to rollout Zain’s Direct Operator Billing platform, reaffirming Zain as a leading innovator in these respective countries. Direct Operator Billing, also known as Carrier Billing, allows the user to pay for digital goods and services by charging the amount to their monthly phone bill or prepaid credit. This solution is seamless and secure as there is no need for credit card or bank account information. SLA Mobile and Zain are committed to partnering with a diverse range of digital content and solutions providers in the Middle East, delivering the ultimate customer experience for Zain customers via Direct Operator Billing.
