The Internet of Things takes center stage at CES 2016
The Internet of Things is going to be everywhere. No, seriously, everywhere.
At this point, there's no escaping this unless you plan to live in a tent on a small plot of land somewhere in New Hampshire. Even then, you'll probably still want the Internet to keep track of how the machines took over the world.
One thing I noticed at the Consumer Electronics Show last week is that despite the proliferation of smart refrigerators, smart cars, smart washing machines and even smart electrical outlets, the smartphone will still have a place at the table and act as the remote control for the IoT. Our most personal device isn't going away any time soon and will help us navigate some of the concepts you will see in this photo gallery.
