Visa doubles size of B2B Connect market, sets integration with Infosys

Visa Inc. said that its Visa B2B Connect network had doubled in size to 62 countries since June of this year and is planning to reach 100 markets by 2020.

The company also announced an integration with Infosys, a digital services and consulting firm, to provide Visa B2B Connect access to that company's participating financial institutions, giving them the ability to process cross-border payments.

"Visa B2B Connect is a fast, secure and more efficient network, designed specifically to overcome obstacles in the cross border payments space," Alan Koeningsberg, global head, new payment flows at Visa Business Solutions, said in a company release. "We are excited to bring on Infosys and expand Visa B2B to new geographies — all in a joint effort to accelerate innovation and increase efficiencies for financial institutions and their corporate clients."

Visa added that clients can also now connect to Visa B2B Connect through Bottomline and FIS, two previously announced hub partners.
