TransferWise has completed an integration with Facebook Messenger that will enable its customers to remit funds to recipients in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia or Europe, according to a company announcement.

"When you're sending money, [the bot will] guide you through each step," TransferWise said in the release. "Plus, if you get stuck, TransferWise Bot will help you out. It's helpful like that."

The company said it built the bot using the TransferWise API. 

"Our mission at TransferWise is to bring faster, cheaper and more convenient international money transfers to everyone in the world," Scott Miller, TransferWise head of global partnerships, said in a statement.
