TransferWise recently announced the official launch of its international money transfer platform in Argentina, according to a press release.

TransferWise said it has enabled money transfers into Argentina from more than 60 other countries via desktop, mobile web and through its iOS and Android apps. TransferWise will operate in Argentina in partnership with Nubi, the fintech company associated with Banco Comafi, according to the release.

"We're excited to launch TransferWise for Argentina, providing people and businesses with the ease of transferring money into the country from all over the world at the real exchange rate," Kristo Käärmann, co-founder and CEO of TransferWise, said in the release. "People have been overcharged to move their money into and out of Argentina for far too long and we're working to fix that."
