TouchBistro links with WePay to launch pay-at-the-table device

TouchBistro, a provider of iPad POS software and WePay, a Chase company, are teaming up to deliver TouchBistro Payments — an instant payment processing and integrated mobile payment device that enables customers to pay at the table via contactless payment, EMV and traditional magnetic strip, according to a press release.

"With TouchBistro Payments powered by WePay, our restaurants will onboard instantly, so they can start taking payments the moment they unbox TouchBistro," Alex Barrotti, founder and CEO of TouchBistro, said in the press release.

Through the WePay relationship, TouchBistro will gain a promotional platform to market its point-of-sale solution on Chase.com and through more than 5,000 Chase Bank branches.

This partnership also makes it easier for businesses that bank with Chase to integrate with TouchBistro, according to the press release.

TouchBistro Payments will launch this spring, according to the companies.
