Global mobile payment provider Text2Pay today announced the launch of a new wizard tool to onboard merchants to its mobile billing platform wizard. According to the company, digital merchants can be ready to accept payments using Text2Pay within minutes using the new wizard making it easier for them to monetize their content.

"It’s quick and simple," said Text2Pay CEO Mark Reiken. "You go through three easy steps then you have immediate access to our payments platform and a wizard where you can setup your brand and campaign, track and analyze your statistics and customize your widget.”

Text2Pay provides in-app billing solutions for online content providers like gaming and social media sites. Consumers enter their mobile phone numbers as a part of the payment process and then confirm their purchases using a unique PIN sent to their devices. The company says it operates in more than 50 countries and provides billing access to 4 billion devices.

In-app billing solutions that bill purchases directly to consumers' monthly mobile statement are becoming increasingly important to unbanked consumers in areas where access to financial services is limited, and also to consumers of digital content who may be younger or not have access to credit and debit accounts.
