Star Micronics, a provider of POS technologies, announced a partnership with Joe Coffee to provide a mobile ordering solution for small, independent coffee shops.

Joe Coffee, which provides order ahead technology through its mobile app and loyalty technology, has added support for Star Micronics' TSP143III and TSP654II printers, which are designed for mobile ordering in coffee shops. 

"It's imperative that Joe can integrate seamlessly into any coffee shop or cafe workflow," Nick Martin, co-founder and CEO of Joe Coffee. "Our partnership with Star Micronics empowers us to configure ticket printing for coffee shops of all shapes and sizes, including cafes with full-service kitchens."

He said Star is the only manufacturer capable of fulfilling the high volume of orders it generates with the speed and reliability that it requires.

The printers both offer USB and bluetooth connectivity, are compatible with iOS and Android and come with Star’s PromoPRNT Cloud Service, which allows shop owners to add promotions to their receipts at no additional cost.
