Speedpay, a Western Union subsidiary, has signed a five-year contract with Denver Water, Colorado's oldest and largest water utility, according to a press release.

Speedpay will offer tailored payment products including electronic billing, web, interactive voice response, auto pay and call center payment channels to the 1.4 million people that rely on Denver Water's services.

"As a Denver-based company, we're incredibly proud to be working with another local business that has such a long and respected history in the state of Colorado," Frank Lockridge, senior vice president of Western Union Global Payments and head of Speedpay, said in the release. "We first started our relationship with Denver Water in 2007, and we look forward to another five years of working with them to bring Coloradans a simple and efficient bill payment experience."
