Snapchat will discontinue a mobile person-to-person payment feature in the popular messaging app as of Aug. 30, according to a report from TechCrunch. 

"Snapcash was our first product created in partnership with another company – Square," a Snapchat spokesperson told TechCrunch. "We're thankful for all the Snapchatters who used Snapcash for the last four years and for Square's partnership."
