SlabbKiosks inks partnership to deploy EMV-enabled bill payment kiosks

Kiosk manufacturer SlabbKiosks has partnered with Ingenico Group to deploy EMV-enabled bill payment devices. SlabbKiosks will integrate Ingenico's payment system into its kiosks.

Kiosk manufacturer SlabbKiosks has announced it has partnered with payments company Ingenico Group to deploy EMV-enabled bill payment devices. SlabbKiosks will integrate Ingenico's payment system into its kiosks, according to the press release.

SlabbKiosks will become a member of Ingenico's Unattended Partner Program, and deploy EMV and NFC-enabled self-service bill payment solutions with its kiosks. The program is designed to enable partners to offer unmanned solutions with EMV and contactless payment options.

"Ingenico Group's iSelf series represents a departure from typical payment devices. The solutions were designed from the ground up for unattended environments, and Ingenico Group provides unparalleled support, by making in-house engineering and support personnel available to our customers," said Mike Masone, sales director, SlabbKiosks. "These customers are spread across many verticals but their needs remain the same – to have simple and secure payment applications developed for their unattended applications."

"We're seeing high demand for unattended payment solutions. Companies such as SlabbKiosks want to protect their customers from post-EMV deadline fraud liability, while enabling consumers to pay using the latest payment methods, including Apple Pay and Android Pay," said Bruce Rasmussen, director of strategic verticals, Ingenico. "We're looking forward to working closely with SlabbKiosks to bring its new turnkey solutions to market."
