India's Paytm is testing facial recognition feature that will enable consumers to unlock the payments feature associated with the popular mobile wallet platform, according to a report from The Economic Times.

The company also reportedly plans to enable consumers to confirm payments with facial recognition, similar to what Apple does with Face ID and Apple Pay.

Paytm did not confirm the feature to The Economic Times, but did say it is testing a variety of new features for the mobile wallet.
