PayAnywhere adds Spanish-language support to its mPOS solution
Reflecting the competitive mobile point of sale space, PayAnywhere has announced an update to its iOS app and an improved merchant portal.
Like other mPOS providers, PayAnywhere connects a card scanning dongle with an app to let small merchants process credit and debit cards using a mobile device. In addition to basic processing at 2.69 percent per transaction, PayAnywhere also offers small merchants basic analytics and reporting.
The new upgrades announced today add to the PayAnywhere's solution by providing a streamlined payment process and additional reporting capabilities.
PayAnywhere's updgrades also provide customer support in both English and Spanish, an interesting addition considering Hispanic-owned small businesses are underserved in this market.
Clip, another mobile POS provider, recently announced a service aimed specifically at Latino-owned businesses.
According to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, there are 3.1 million Hispanic-owned businesses in the U.S. with revenues of more than $400 billion annually.
