Par adds mobile dine-in ordering app to Brink integration

ParTech Inc, a global provider of POS software and integrated technical solutions to the restaurant and retail industries, has added Ready to its Brink integration ecosystem to allow mobile dine-in ordering capabilities and pay-at-table to restaurants using Brink POS, according to a company press release.

Ready connects guests to their bills or the restaurant menus on their phone with no wait, sign-up or app download. With an NFC tap or scan of a Ready code, a guest can order, split a bill and pay within seconds. It's a seamless experience for the guest and is a fully integrated solution for restaurants, Stephen Lee, PAR's manager of Strategic Partnerships, said in the release.

"Ready is an exciting addition to our forward-thinking integration ecosystem. The way guests interact with restaurants continues to change and we're excited to see what Ready can provide with their self-ordering and payment functionality using the guest's mobile device," he said, in the release.

For limited-service restaurants, Ready enables dine-in mobile ordering, which allows guests to order directly to their tables without waiting in line. Restaurants can provide these digital experiences without the need for additional kiosk hardware.

In full-service restaurants with Ready, Par said table turns have been 20 minutes faster on average. Laurent May, Head of Ready said it also enables service to more tables [er server, increasing tips by an estimated 15%.

"PAR is an ideal partner with a rich history of innovation. We are very excited to offer both mobile dine-in ordering and pay at table technology to all of PAR's Brink customers and look forward to working together to bring our vision of elevating the guest experience to life," she said in the release.
