Networld Media publisher named among 'Top Women in Media' in Folio: awards
The annual list includes publishing executives who have 'fearlessly moved their brands, teams and companies in new directions,' according to the sponsor.
Folio:, a news magazine for professionals in the magazine publishing industry, has released its list of Top Women in Media for 2015. The annual program honors "the creativity, innovation and accomplishments" of women in the magazine media industry, according to a press release.
Kathy Doyle, executive vice president and publisher of Networld Media Group, was named among "Corporate Visionaries" in this year's list. NMG is the business-to-business media communications company behind ATMMarketplace.com, DigitalSignageToday.com, KioskMarketplace.com, MobilePaymentsToday.com, VirtualCurrencyToday.com and several other online publications.
The list includes executives from internationally respected publishers and publications such as The Atlantic, Bloomberg, Forbes Media, Harvard Business Review, Hearst, Sports Illustrated\ and Time Inc. Selection of honorees is based on specific accomplishments, testimonials and other supporting materials.
In addition to Corporate Visionaries, honoree categories include:
- Industry leadership;
- Director-level Doers;
- Entrepreneurs; and
- Rising Stars.
"These women have fearlessly moved their brands, teams and companies in new directions, propelling this industry into the future," Folio said in the announcement.
Folio: will recognize honorees at a luncheon on June 8 at the Grand Hyatt New York.
